Ms. Susan Davis Please Note:
The Core of Knowledge at Ohio State University is not a preparatory course for the National or State exams. The information obtained at the Core of Knowledge is vital information, which will help you become a successful Nursing Home Administrator. The Core of Knowledge also provides networking opportunities, which will have a positive impact on your career as a Nursing Home Administrator.
For more information on this program, please contact Jennifer Cunningham, the Board's Education Coordinator, at (614) 466-5114.
Registration deadlines for the internship and meeting dates are as follows:
For example, if you want to start your internship on April 1, your application/training plan must be submitted by January 21st. It will first be reviewed by the Board's Education Committee in February. Then you will have the opportunity to make changes, if necessary, before the complete application is forwarded to the Board in March for official action. If it is approved, your internship will begin on April 1.
If you wish to apply for the Administrator-In-Training internship to prepare for licensure as a nursing home administrator, return the "Preliminary Data for AIT Program" form to the Board office and an application packet will be mailed to you. If you have additional questions, please contact Jennifer Cunningham, the Board's Education Coordinator, at (614) 466-5114, or write this office. |
